Chase Placid Sebastian Shoemaker (he/him/his): composer, conductor, vocalist, pianist, vocal coach, clinician, and joyful music maker.
As a young gay Catholic with hyperfocus and hyperactivity, music was a means by which Chase expressed himself as a holistic individual. In particular, he was drawn to a choir’s ability to take the beauty of each person’s unique and authentic voice and bring them together in brilliant harmony, or sometimes more miraculously, together in unity. Chase brings this same love of expression to his work as a composer, conductor, vocalist, and educator.
